I’ve spent my career arguing that infrastructure, security, and IT aren’t back-office concerns — they’re features. This site is where I get to make that argument in the open, and think out loud about the parts of the job that don’t fit neatly into a ticket.

Expect writing on AI governance in fast-moving organizations, the eternal tug-of-war between security and convenience, what “maintainable” actually means when you’re building quickly, and the occasional detour into home automation, woodworking, or whatever I’ve got clamped to the workbench.
